Arcadia International© is a multidisciplinary consultancy dedicated to the food and feed value chain.

 

Created in 1998 by senior experts and corporate executives in food chain industry, Arcadia focuses on major issues common to the main segments of the food chain.

 

Arcadia consists in a network of consultancies and technical research institutions. Its members and associates are individual consultants, consulting firms and technology/research institutions, working either under their own label or under the Arcadia flag depending on project specifics and contractual arrangements.

 

Based in Belgium, in the heart of the EU, Arcadia members and associates are distributed all over the globe and more particularly in areas in which agriculture and agro-food economies are developed.

The European Parliament Research Service has just published Arcadia International E.E.I.G.'s latest study on the evaluation of EU on-farm animal welfare legislation and the prospects of an EU-wide animal welfare label. The US Department of Agriculture has recently published 4 GAIN reports that our Lisbon office prepared to provide a better understanding of the impact of COVID-19 on the Portuguese agri-food market. Arcadia International E.E.I.G. in cooperation with VVA Group has recently completed a study for the AGRI Committee of the European Parliament on the impact of COVID-19 on European agriculture and the food chain. The European Parliament has recently published the report “Megatrends in the agri-food sector: global overview and possible policy response from an EU perspective”. It was presented at the EP AGRI committee on 5 November 2019.
